Can someone please explain how to properly IV breed to me? It seems that my method is probably wrong since I've hatched almost 300 eggs and I've never even gotten a 5IV pokemon yet.
My method goes like so:
>have multiple safari dittos, enough to cover IVs in each stat
>choose pokemon I want to raise
>put pokemon in daycare
>equip the ditto with the IV I want most with the respective power item
>put it into daycare with desired pokemon
>hatch eggs until I get desired nature
>take that pokemon and give it an everstone
>replace the pokemon in the daycare
>hatch more eggs
>if I get opposite gender pokemon with the desired perfect IV, the replace ditto with it with the power item
>hatch more eggs
>all eggs I hatch end up only having 1 or 2 at most perfect IVs
What am I doing wrong? I see all these threads with 5-6IV pokemon while I'm only pumping out a 2IV pokemon every 60 or so eggs. Am I just unlucky? Please tell me there is a better way to do this?
