Okay, guys. No giveaway tonight. (Do feel free to use this thread to trade breeding leftovers, though.)

Tonight, I need suggestions. I plan on doing a ton of breeding tomorrow, and do a big giveaway on Sunday. I'm planning to do some Rain Dish Squirtles with the pulses, Intimidate Growlithes with Close Combat, and Unburden Hawluchas with Baton Pass. My question is, is there anything in high demand and short supply here? Basically, any other mass breeding suggestions?

Ah, slightly off topic... Anymore good guides for Gen VI breeding? I'm wanting to get into more serious breeding, but the subject is a bit daunting. Informative guides and tips-and-tricks would be very welcome.

To start, Friend Safaris are huge. The pokemon that come from them have at least 2 perfect IVs and can have hidden abilities. A good base is to aim to get a box or so of Ditto, aiming specifically for ones with 3+ perfect IVs. You can check IVs at the purple haired dude in Kiloude City.

When I plan to breed something, I usually breed for a base pokemon. In the case of Growlithes, I'd look for one with Intimidate that is female.

Then, I find a pokemon that has the right nature, and breed them with an Everstone and Destiny Knot until I get a Growlithe with the right nature and at least 2 good IVs. When a parent holds the Everstone, their children carry their Nature. When at least one parent holds a Destiny Knot, five of the stats are chosen, and one parent passes down their IV for that stat. This makes it much easier to make progress towards a perfect pokemon.

Then, I work towards egg moves. In this case, I'm looking for a 'mon that has Close Combat in the same egg group, preferably with good IVs. Once I have said pokemon, I give the Growlithe from the last step, the one with the good nature, an Everstone and the 'mon with the move, a Lucario with Close Combat in this case, a Destiny Knot, and start hatching.

Once I have a good couple Growlithes with the right nature, Close Combat, and 3-4 perfect IVs, you can either start replacing the parents with better ones until you get a 31/31/31/x/31/31 one, or you can use the method in the OP.

Also, how accurate is he? Or would I be better off using an IV calculator, like that image says?

It is the post game town, yes.

He tells you a list of stats that are in that pokemon's highest "bracket", if you will, and then gives a description of how good that bracket is. If it's a perfect 31, he tells you that "stats like these... they just can't be beat!" If you are just aiming for 5/6 perfects, he's good enough. If you want to mess with HP or such, Calcs are usually better.
