What EV spread/moveset are you running on this bulky motherfucker? Impish nature and 252 Defense are no-brainers, and I'm planning on breeding Curse onto my Aron.

I run a rock polish adamant set. He can't one shot alot, so as a sweeper, eh? But he comes in handy alot, His heavy slam is devastating, anything that doesn't resist him he hits hard, and things he can hit SE die easy.

Use my 5 IV ...relaxed... Mega aggron for 2v2 shit with a buddy. Missing special def, use autotomize for first hits. Iron head for most, dragon claw for dragons and shadow claw for ghosts.

Going to go with what these guys said, it already has monstrous defence already, combined with Filter nothing running a physical set will 1 hit KO it, many will be lucky to 2 hit it even if super effective.

HP and Special Def if using as a wall, HP and Attack if using as a bulky damage dealer. Make sure you run something with baton pass and speed boost if you go with the HP/Attack route though, Scolipede is amazing with him for example.

Does Rock Polish/Autotomize really work on him? He seems so slow that boosting speed doesn't seem to useful. I'd rather go on a Trick Room set.

With on rock polish he outspeeds pretty much anything without a choice scarf. If you're going to use automize, make sure to go with iron head over heavy slam.

I never used a Mega Aggron, but judging from its base stats there are two possible cookie cutter sets I could think of:

>1. Balky Support
>Nature: Impish
>EV Spread: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Atk
>Item: Aggronite
>Ability: Sturdy OR Rock Head to Filter
>Stealth Rock
>Thunder Wave/Toxic
>Roar
>Heavy Slam/Stone Edge/Earthquake/Dragon Tail

>2. Sanic Sweepar
>Nature: Adamant
>EV Spread: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
>Item: Aggronite
>Ability: Rock Head to Filter
>Autotomize OR Rock Polish
>Iron Head OR Heavy Slam (If you chose Rock Polish, go for Heavy Slam)
>Stone Edge/Head Smash (You can choose to use Head Smash, but the 1/2 recoil can be devastating when your Rock Head ability converts into Filter when mega evolving).
>Fire Punch/Aqua Tail/Superpower/Earthquake

Like I said, I never used a Mega Aggron competitively, so these sets have a high probability of being shit.

I'm currently building him with either SDEF/Attack or Health/Attack and using him as a Trick Room Sweeper.

Use a shitty Xatu first, set up the Trick Room, if he Survives next turn use UTurn into Aggron, mega evolve, stealth rock.

Proceed to head smash/iron head to victory

don't know if it will be viable but it'll be fun
