Why is everyone obsessing over this stupid pokemon?

Everyone I hear is talking about how it will be OU because of Protean but all that ever happen is

>Greninja is now X type!
>The move didn't kill!
>Greninja now gets hit by something its not even weak to and dies instantly

It's worthless. It has no place. It has an extremely shallow movepool.

>Extrasensory actually being used in competitive play despite it being the worst psychic move in the entire game

It shows just how awful this pokemon is and how people just jumped on the hype train of a supposed good ability. It's a garbage pokemon.
