rocky helmet is rarely good. ferro and druddigon are really the only pokes i can think of who might use it. go with lefties or something.

But that's wrong. Lots of bulky mons can afford to use Rocky Helmet, especially if they can heal themselves.

If anything he shouldn't use helmet because it doesn't stack with Spiky Shield.
