The only downside is that offensively, there's absolutely nothing it can do and my only choice after that would be to switch it out to something else. I'll still give it a shot, though.
How does swapping it with Explosion sound? That way, it gets Stealth Rock out and puts up a Reflect and Light Screen for at least a couple turns, then goes out with a bang on the opponent's first pokemon.

I was thinking of flail, also, but I don't know what X and Y's mechanics are on that and at how much HP it'll actually be doing noticeable damage.
