That's why I said mostly. I'd have to use a Pokemon that is weak to Water and switch out on the assumption that they'll use a Water move.

It's not the hardest assumption to make, but it's much too situational for me to really like it. And weather teams are kind of useless now in singles, which is where I'm playing.

I got my first shiny ever a few weeks ago. It's a shiny Octillery. The thing is ugly as fuck and I got it via a friend safari. Thanks to chain fishing it is pretty much useless.

I suppose useless was the wrong word. Situational, maybe?

If I'm not running a rain team and my opponent has no Water type/attacks, then it basically doesn't have an ability.

Mega Mantine would have a smaller-than-normal Octillery under each "wing" and use them like turrets.

Or maybe the ability would give it crazy accuracy ala some kind of "lock on" system.

Or maybe all it's attacks hit all the opponents in doubles/triples.
