>>15794462>You don't gain any "advantage" If there is no advantage to gain, then don't use genned Pokemon - use just any Charizard, for example, instead of a Genned one.
>There's absolutely no reason, except for you to look down on people from atop your high horse.I can't speak for others, but what bothers me is the fact that despite this being an integral system of the game, people like you believe that it arbitrarily shouldn't apply to them and is somehow 'invalid' because of it.
The validity of the mechanic aside, maybe you should question why you are playing an RPG if you refuse to use the RPG aspects of it.
Do you start every RPG you play and immediately download some form of 3rd party application to make you level 100 because "it's sooo easy to get to high level, why should I actually have to do anything?"
The fact that there are also simulators out there and people still feel the need to gen the pokemon shows that beyond the desire for battling they desire owning the pokemon themselves (as much as you can "own" data) yet are unwilling, or to entitiled, to put forth the effort.
Specifically in Gen VI above all others, it really just shows how childish they are.
And, on a last note
> and I don't care what you have to say about it.Obviously you felt the need to defend your own position to type out that bitter wall of text, condemning those you felt are "looking down from their high horses" on you.
