I got Y and have been satisfied with my purchase. Trading for exclusives is piss easy. When it comes to Charizard I'm kind of 50/50, X is probably better from a gameplay standpoint but Y looks better, I like Yveltal a little more than Xerneas, Mewtwo Y beats the snot out of Mewtwo X, but I would have preferred Mega Pinsir and Manectric over Heracross and Houndoom.

BW2 is seriously "better" than XY as far as shit to do goes.

XY feels really bare if you can separate the graphics/customization upgrades from the actual gameplay. Not that I dislike XY, but XYZ or whatever the fuck will definitely be the Platinum to its DP.

BW2 was the end product of all DS games

X and Y are the diamond and pearl of the 3DS so they are still figuring out how to develop for the console.
Diamond and pearl where pretty bland as well Just wait until a few games down the road. I mean compare BW2 to D&P the changes are astonishing.

But I played a beaten every game except for platinum.

In Gen III I got Sapphire because it was my birthstone and I was a 12 year old gril but later on my friend gave me her copy of Ruby because that was around the time Pokemon stopped being cool and I liked Ruby so much better.

I bought Y thinking it would be the "blue" version of the pair. I always get the less intense version colors (Sapphire/LG/Pearl/SS/White/White 2) but here I ended up with the "red" version...
