Kind-Of Make-A-Game-General Thread: To Which I Tried and I Tried Hard

So, I'm the shithead who keeps posting about "I don't have the money for RMXP 1.04" and "there are no keygens for RMXP 1.04." But anyways, those posts should have alluded you to the fact that I've been trying to make my own Pokeymanz game for a while now, with Pokemon Essentials.

Here's a long synopsis of the story for this game:

>Starts in an office space as a middle-aged nobody who hasn't done anything involving Pokemon since he/ she was a kid
>You work for a very environmentally unfriendly company named San Monto Company, and your coworkers are slaves to the system; they hate Pokemon, so your interests in Pokemon are very small
>You start out the game going out to lunch and harangued by your rival and his goons.
>You need food fast, so you remember there being vending machines outside of the building
>Your rival is a hot-shot rising employee in the company, so the boss sees him as being an awesome guy
>You arrive in the main city, New Monto City, and it's the product of being an industrial hell-hole.
>Oddly enough, there is no restaurant in New Monto City
>The vending machines are broken, so you decide that going out past the first route will bring forth a restaurant
>There's an old river that connects to every city, and the New Monto part of the river is infested with Grimers, which seem to be plaguing the city's water supply
>There's an enigmatic construction zone outside of the giant mountain that looms over New Monto City. No one tells you what's being built, but rumors run from it being a new Pokemon Center, to a new water filtration facility, to claims that the San Monto Company is capping the mountain for resources.
>You go through a brief portion of the mountainside to the beginning route, where the cave is littered with Dunsparces.
>Professor Oak pulls you aside from your journey, oddly enough, to go in to his rental cabin on that route
