they have promos and a few really bad starter sets out, but thats it.

Still waiting to see how mega-evolution works. The rumor is its a better version of Lv X, except instantly ends your turn when you play it.

More likely solution, imo, is that its just an Ace Spec version of Level X.

the Lv X+end turn thing is SEREBII CONFRIMED. I'd actually prefer it if they were just Ace Spec'd evolutions though. Would be a good fit for them.

Big Basics is a generic Deck Archetype similar to the original HayMaker: You only use basic pokemon that have efficient energy costs and usually a bunch of support cards.

EX Pokemon Only encourage Big Basics decks, where as Lvl X encourages more evolution based decks.

The fact that evolution decks mostly suck is EXTREMELY poor game design in my opinion because Evolution is one of the main points of Pokemon.

The current metagame is controlled entirely by 180 HP basic Pokemon. People were hoping they'd do away with the EX mechanic with XY, but they instead announced Yvetel EX, which will do nothing but give Darkrai EX more firepower.

And the one Mega Pokemon evolve from these.

Mega Evolutions are (from what we know) only going to be usable on the matching EX Pokemon (which are all basics, even the new Blastoise EX and Venusaur EX).

Once you play one, your turn immediately ends.

Deck listing. Seems like its pulling cards from the XY Beginning Sets DX.

I noted to Pokebeach that his translations for Braixen and Furfrou ended up being different than what actually got printed. Pretty neat cards though all around.

I think the no more than 4 of any card in your deck always applies to every card ever.

One of the big things about "lv X" cards was that they counted as having the same name as the Pokemon they leveled up from, so you couldn't have four of each. Weren't you around for it?

I think you get to have 4 of each Mega in your deck but I hope that they are similar to Ace Spec.
