I just can't help but put Metagross into my teams, even if it is the least used of the pseudos as far as I know. Dat balk and attack. Had good results with Assault vest too. Not sure why Gamefreak is afraid to give him Shift gear though, it'd be the perfect move to make him great again.

Salamence is mine. I love the whole "learned to fly through sheer force of will" storyline it has going, and it's always done me good.

Hydreigon comes in second, being a great looking beast and being overall a great Pokémon.

That said, if Goodra had gotten a secondary typing, it might have overtaken Hydreigon. I can't help but hate it for not being Water, Poison, or Fairy though. I mean, why bother making it a goo dragon if you're not even going to do anything with that?

Ah well.

What I did was 252Hp, 200Atk, rest in Def. Was focusing mostly on bulk really, and the slight drop in attack wasn't too significant. But the extra power from band could likely take out defense stance Aegislash, mine still did around 55-60% to the one I ran into.
The best really does help though, have managed to get a few surprise KOs on people who thought their special attack could 1HKO Gross.

I really like Garchomp but recently I've been favouring Hydreigon.
Even with the 4x weakness to fairy and all the other weaknesses, the Hydra has so much to give to the world.

I like Salamence. He feels a lot more versatile than the others, both movepool wise and physical-special wise.

And while they are mostly redundant together, a dragon that can learn both Fire Blast and Hydro Pump and use them off a high stat just feels really damn cool.

Call me edgy, but Hydreigon. I love special attackers in general, I love its color scheme, and I love how it kind of looks like a flower. I also love it's pokedex entry. A little blind baby dragon that grows another head, and the two heads fight. Eventually, it grows another head, and one of them takes over, reducing the other two to mere limbs. The only thing that bugs me is how much of a pain it is to raise in-game. All psuedos are, but this fucker takes the cake. Its stats and movepool is geared to being a physical attacker, until it becomes Hydreigon where it suddenly becomes a special attacker. Also, probably will not even become a Hydreigon until post-game.

Mega Garchomp is a close second, because holy shit do I love axehands. Reminds me of something out of an old kaiju film. Everyone else I'm pretty neutral towards, except Goodra, whom I actively dislike. It's a shame, too. Because one of my hopes for gen 6 was a jolly psuedo to contrast against all the serious ones. We got one, but at what cost...

I've loved Dragonite since Gen 1. Garchomp and Hydreigon have made me relieve my love for dragons. For whatever reason I've never liked Salamance, even though I consider myself a dragon master. Heck I prefer Alteria over most dragons for whatever reason.

I'm just at a loss for what GameFreak themselves wanted Goodra to be USED for. Did they just want a mono-type pokemon with high Sp.Def that runs four boring attacks? Maybe one that stalls with Toxic, Rain Dance, Rest and Hydration?

He feels like he was designed to coast on last generation's two-weakness Dragon type and abuse last generation's weather mechanics.

I can't see anyone wanting to run a weather team with a mega garchomp over mega tyranitar or mega Mawile. Both of it's stabs can be walled by switching into a Fairy or a Flying/Levitate mon. Sandstorm wouldn't last long enough for it to make a big difference

I had trouble getting Metagross and Hydreigon to work on any of my teams. I LIKED them the best but I just can't use them well enough. I don't think I design enough of the team around them.

I didn't even try with Goodra. When I finally learned the evo method I just said fuck it and boxed my level 65 Sliggoo.

Metagross was kind of garbage last gen. Choice Band was best set but it relied heavily on prediction. I'd go with Meteor Mash, Hammer Arm, ZenHeadbutt, Tpunch. Try to get it in clean and hope you guess right to kill something.

Hydreigon is difficult to use, especially towards the end of gen 5. Best set was mixed Life Orb with FireBlast, Superpower, Dracometeor, and Roost in the Sun. Basically come in on something slow that it resists and launch attacks. I say sun because it makes Fire Blast much more powerful and gives it a bigger water resist.

Metagross is my favorite mon ever. Tyranitar and Hydreigon are also among my faves.

Garchomp's pretty cool and has the best cry (Tim Allen grunt). Dragonite and Goodra are kinda disappointing from their evos, but I still like them.

Salamence is definitely the blandest, but we needed a more typical European dragon so it's all good.

Sort of the same with Hydreigon, but mostly because it seemed underclassed in Gen 5 and saved my ass multiple times with that scarf draco meteor.

I've kept Dragonair/Dragonite on a lot of my teams. Tyranitar too.

Wasn't really fond of Metagross due to Beldum's retarded upbringing.
Not a big fan of Salamence due to how overused it was in Gens 4 and 5. That might just be me being a hipster.

Goodra's okay. I liked Sliggoo better. Hence why I'm using Eviolite Sliggoo right now.

Why do people want Goodra to be a Dragon/Poison? We already have one this gen. If you're going to say because it's based off a snail, then it should have been Bug/Dragon. Mono-Dragon isn't that bad of a type anyway, though I wouldn't have minded Dragon/Fairy or Dragon/Water. There should have been a Fairy Pseudo though, I mean Ttar was the Dark Pseudo of it's generation.
