Bags count toward it.
Reset bags are used for a few reasons. If you mess up somewhere along the line (giving attack instead of def), or if you have a mon that you've used for a while that's all spread and want to reset it to get it exactly where you want.

For example, I'll use Throh. It has huge HP, so you might want to dump EVs into HP to make it extra tanky. That leaves you with a lot though. Speed is really important in Pokemon, so usually people put a lot of EVs into speed, unless a Pokemon's speed is irredeemable (and prime for Trick Room teams). Throh is pretty slow though, so it might be better just to invest those EVs into it's defenses or attack.

You will have a chance to, but the best way to get 5/6 IVs is to switch the parents around whenever you get better genetic stock from a batch of eggs. Breeding goes much quicker when you have pokemon of the same species as parents as well, as they shit out eggs much faster.
Destiny knot makes it so 5 IVs are randomly inherited from the parentS. So you have a 5/12 chance of getting the IV you want passed on. This is why its better to have more IVs on each parent, as it increases the chance of passing on the perfect IVs you want.

The percentage is very low for Charmanders so it must be already written in the egg.
In my opinion using this trick we can exploit these specially with high lvled percentage of pokemons that have certain gender and then we change the pokemon to low percentage of the gender we want and the egg will have the gender we exploited.

I believe (I couldnt test it) that the egg also had the calculations to be shiny or not. So in theory we can masuda magikarps for example and when we get one we change to the pokemon we want to be shiny and that egg will be shiny, THIS ONE IS JUST IN THEORY.

Is it possible to use Destiny Knot and a Power item to easily breed 6 IV Pokemon? What I mean is, is it possible to inherit 6 IVs using both of these? I want the highest damage false swipe so I went with adamant and technician. I debated between HP and speed because I couldn't figure out if I want to out speed everything to get mean look and spore off before something can run or if I should be able to take hits better.
My instinct says attack and speed maxed is best.
