Just use wild ones.

>Switch to your Smeargle and Sketch that

Sketch calls the last move used, regardless of user. Since switching takes a turn, the wild Pokémon will have to do nothing for this technique to work. Best off leading with a Spore user

Why are you faggots making this shit so complicated?

Just use double battles in Le Nah and make sure Smeargle is slower than the pokemon he wants to sketch because if he goes first nothing happens.

Did I not make it clear that Smeargle is the Wild Pokemon in this scenario?

Doing this method as long as you outspeed the Wild Smeargle, it will Sketch the move you want and keep using it as it's the only move it knows. So you can switch in YOUR Smeargle and Sketch.

I've done this to get an optimal pokemon catching Smeargle already.
