We both have Klefki and Gyarados on our teams. We both send out Klefkis and paralyze each other. I use rain dance, switch to Kingdra, and I trade kills with a Gorgeist. Now we're stuck spamming foul play against each other on our Klefkis for like 10 turns because neither of us want our 3rd pokemon to get paralyzed. I only win the game because my Gyarados came out second to his, so I got my intimidation off.
It just feels so luck based as opposed to 6v6 where you can actually prepare for things somewhat decently.
