For those experienced in team building,

What do I do about this little shit? It trick locks my walls and it proceeds to cripple my attacking forces. I've been trying to build a team specifically to counter this guy but it always ends up as "just use Gengar." The whole game seems to revolve around having a handful of pokemon that can hit through it. Until it V-switches into the teammates that it has to counter its own counters.

I don't mean to baw over "just not being good enough," I'd just like some more seasoned players perspective on working around this kind of threat, because it isn't like building around lol aegislash or STAB frog.
