They see you have charizard. Why would they not go to GREAT lengths to make damn sure stealth rock is out when he hits the field?
Saying "Oh I have a rapid spinner bro, I'm not worried" doesn't save Charizard. It didn't before, it won't now.
His only viable strategy is to be your lead as Y, to set up five turn sun and reak havoc.
Or to lead as X, and either reak havoc, or be swapped out for later. Costing you turns to megaevolve and swap him out.
He has his downsides. Anyone who says he doesn't is just some kid who finally wants to be able to use his bro edgyzard.
That said? He's definitely workable, but Y is better. Partner it with Ninetails to make a sun team given that weather was nerfed. Double Drought. But again, lead with the Charizard.
