I fished up a shiny one for the novelty (Shit nature but I honestly said fuck it) and run

>Kings Rock
Icicle Spear
Ice Shard
Shell Smash
Razor Shell

Its honestly my first experience with an OU pokemon and it does insanely well against the usual meta of 2 starts, Blaziken, Lucario, Legendary. Icicle Spear hitting 5 times with Kings Rock is infuriating to be hit by, I can tell. If it can live after a Shell Smash it has potential to sweep everything. Shame a lot of types resists Icicle Spear, but even with the boost an inneffective 5 shots can do half most usual Pokemons HP. Even with his shit nature he does fine. He could be better because no Pokemon for Rock Blast to give him, but its alright. Most people going Dragonite online and Ice Shard does good enough to take it down before it tries to do anything.

jolly nature and train him for speed and attack

always start with shell smash, and then sweep with one glorious HP

Cloyster is the scrub pokemon. It's almost only used and kept OU by scrubs who also use it wrong.

It's shit and it's always been. This gen it lost rain, but Breloom was nerfed. It's still doing the same shit last gen: getting a late game sweep every now and then, and being a useless lead which pretty much means free points when you start laddering.

Protip: don't use Cloyster as a lead. You may sweep retards 6-0 like that, but don't expect too try to pull that shit off against a decent player, because it'll be as smart as using 5 pokemon.

Why not also add some priority in bulk. Putting everything on speed seems risky because
1.you might outrun something and then lower your defense and
2. it's going to be raised two stages anyways.
Id say put 100 on HP

I've calculated that with 252 attack, 82 hp and 176 in speed after a shellsmash he can outspeed even a mega alakazam with max speed.
That's how i set up mine, but i could be wrong though.

Then switch into a ground type or any special wall. Having enough speed on a lot of pokemon seems enough for me than wasting all the EVs just to outrun Sparky.

That is far beyond his reach, even with a nature for speed (mine is adamant) and full ev he arrives at 524, while scarfed jolteon is 591.

Why is everyone using Razor Shell? It's shit. 75BP, 95Acc, why not just use the much more powerful Hydro Pump that can also be used to break through bulky steel types by targeting special defense?
