I'm leaning twards White or Black 2 since i prefer it's exclusives but wanted to hear what /vp/ thinks.

There are actually a few more differences. The appearance of the Dragon gym town differs from game to game. You should also look up black city and white forest.

How much do you care about storylines? Get both if you care a lot, just get BW2 if you don't.
