SO,,Shuckle has stupid amazing defenses but shit HP, is it worth investing EVs in HP to try to make up for this or should i just pump EVs into both Defenses? Same question relating for Nature. aside from that how does this sound for a shuckle setup. Ability: Contrary>Shellsmash >Stone edge >Stealth rock >Toxic

If you can pull everything off i.e. getting all the stat increases from acupressure then when you Power Trick you should have an attack stat around 600x4 which should OHKO just about anything.

If you use it on something with high attack then Shuckle will gain a moderate attack power and become able to do some damage with stone edge while your opponent's attack stat will be cut nearly in half. It's a buff and a debuff and this is why it synergizes well with stone edge.

Shuckle really suffers from 4MSS. Here's your moves to look at, good luck figuring out which four are most important for you: Shell Smash - defense buffs with Contrary. Important for walling. Power Split - cuts the opponent's attack stats in half. Important for walling and phazing. Sticky Web - OP as fuck, and very few others can get it. But it's not actually useful for Shuckle itself, just its teammates. Great for support, but filling a moveslot limits Shuckle's own capabilities. Depends on what's a bigger priority to you. Toxic - Without this your walling won't actually do anything! However, I recommend having Toxic Spikes out on the field instead so that Shuckle won't need to spend a moveslot. Rest - Recovery. Very important for walling, but with enough Shell Smashes you may just be able to get enough out of your Leftovers instead. But then you'll have to worry about status. Wrap or Sand Tomb - Trapping goes nicely with Power Split, and it does percentage-based damage to kill faster than you would with Toxic alone. If you're running Toxic Spikes, I suggest using Wrap over Sand Tomb so you have something to hit fliers with. Do not under any circumstances use Power Trick, ever. I know it sounds so tempting on paper, but you will never successfully pull it off. You will just die before you can hit anything.
