At level 50, what the maison is set to, IV spreads of absolute 0 compared to spreads of entirely 31s is the equivalent of 15 stat points.
Typical Pokemon have IVs around like 15-20 because that's just how luck is. You have to be as unlucky as the guy catching Hexaperfect Pokemon to get pure zeros. That a standard difference of about 7-5 points between an entirely max IV'd Pokemon.

Usually it's just your teambuilding, and how you're too lazy to super train.

I just used my team that I bred and fully EV trained and got to round 35 in the Battle Maison. Finally got to buy the items I needed. But does anyone know if items like berry's are permanently consumed in the Maison?

I'm pretty sure there's a poison move that does 40 damage and harshly lowers special attack.
Have a pokemon learn it and use it on the Manectric, making it really weak, and now touching the ground. I know Tentacruel can learn Acid Spray (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called) and it's a Special Defensive tank, so it could take a few t-bolts from it.

I was kinda just testing the team. I used to go with togekiss as lead, but after someone suggested mawile, I decided to try out. Now I'm using Mawile as a lead, with sucker punch/play rough/iron head/crunch, and togekiss for occasional thunderwave/60% flinch and shit. Though I was looking to switch togekiss, as I think two fairies can end up giving me trouble.

You should try a bulky physical with sweep potential like DD scrafty or some other boring shit.
I mean, manetric doesn'teven have too much Atk or STAB to deal to much damage with flare blitz. How shitty has to be your goodra to get sweeped by that?

I don't remember exactly which pokemon, but it was using an attack that kept bringing Goodra's defense down, by the time I killed it his defense was already as low as it could be. Flare blitz just somehow outsped it.

Someone told me that for battle maison the best strategy is to use 3 pokemon that cover each other's weakness, so would mawile/scrafty/goodra do okay?

Indeed, it took me a while to breed the perfect togekiss, and it did pretty well for a while. Mawile as a lead did take me to the 35th battle without even fainting, though, and that made me quite happy, so it made me reconsider togekiss for maison.
