No, Talonflame will not be sweeping. At most, it can take out two Pokemon and maybe damage a third before it implodes.The greatest thing about it is being faster than fast Sucker Punches.

It doesn't matter if it's fiction, it's harder to suspend disbelief when the design is just outright retarded compared to others in the same series. Things like Wailord's weight or Dragonite's wings aren't nearly as obvious a flaw in their design.

And for example, Dragonite's wings can be explained by the fact that it's a fucking dragon, so magical powers are the first thing that comes to mind. Nothing about Diggersby's design evokes something that would make sense of those fucking ears, it just looks stupid and poorly thought out.

Yes, it's called a concept. Some design elements make sense with each other even if they wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Gyarados has no wings yet it can fly, and no one has a problem with this because its design clearly evokes a mystical creature based on a number of legends that make sense of its abilities. There is nothing about Diggersby that makes its ears seem like they would function.

Diggersby has higher base attack than Azummarill, access to STAB Earthquake, Quick attack, and a few more very interesting tools.

While he doesn't get Belly Drum (as far as I can tell) he can still buff up and become insanely strong fairly easily.

I like Azumarill AND Diggersby.

Lol what. Linoone's only niche is belly drum + STAB extremespeed, which isn't even possible to obtain without the hard-to-find Pokemon Box rs. With huge power diggersby is superior, it reaches ~500 Attack which means even STAB quick attack hurts a lot, even without setup. Your argument seems invalid, but on the other hand I've never used linoone in battling, only as an ingame utility/pickup mon.

Dedenne was great for me because I always liked raichu more than pikachu because of it was so fat and squishy and had a warmer colour scheme, but pikachu was littler and 'cuter' so with Dedenne I get the best of both worlds. Shame they're a shit, though.

Diggersby and Vivillon ain't my thing but I can see why people would like them.

I went into the game expecting to like Talonflame, but I wound up really disliking the final evo's look and boxing them until I needed flame body for breeding. Now that i'm two weeks into mass egg producing and occasionally destroying what few online battles I get challenged to, they're pretty high up there on my bro list.
