I am a long time Pokémon Trainer but just now that I am getting into competitive gaming.

So, I've been EV training a few pokés on Y, thanks to Super Training. But I still don't get it.

Say, you get an Adamant Salamence. He's got a nice attack already, but people still want to increase it. Why wouldn't you sharpen an other stat, like, Spe? What's the most wise way to distribute the EVs?
