What are the IVs in? And I would like the Metal Coat too. The Froakie has Toxic Spikes, so that should cover the lost Coat. IVs in all but Sp. Atk on the Scyther will guarantee you one with IVs in all but Attack.

Naive, hasty, timid, or, if using a physical set, jolly/naughty/lonely(but his physical movepool not great). The only point at which modest has any value is choice scarf, and even that would be better with a -DEF or -S.DEF nature. That's not even getting into the issues scarf Greninja has.
