It's both bad to have tiers because it's inhibiting the variety of Pokemon we have for you to choose from, but it's also bad to keep running the same Pokemon on your team because of it's strength.
Both of you faggots are wrong and the whole idea of tiers is contradictory within itself.
A real competitive player will have a nice variety that is unique to them and a set strategy that is well thought out and not based on tiers or a single strong Pokemon.
Tiers shouldn't exist, and at the same time, you shouldn't rely on one Pokemon to get the job done. It's wrong on both sides.
It's true that Smogon isn't forcing anybody, but the idea isn't going to fix anything and it's dumb as fuck. But at the same time, idiots who take advantage of the fact that they are free to grab the overpowered Pokemon aren't considered players and more like imbeciles who are obsessed with winning battles and not enjoying the game for what it is.
Anyway; long story short - fuck all of you and your insistent whining over something that is wrong on both sides of the argument.
