Ability: Hard Body
Effect: When the targeted Pokemon is hit with a move that makes contact, the damage is halved and the attacker loses 1/16th it's own maximum HP.

I mostly thought of this as an ability and hidden ability for weak Steel/Rock type Pokemon to counter fighting types, because in reality if you punched metal or rocks, it would probably hurt.

Adding on another ability,

Zero Celsius
During sunshine, the Pokémon with this Ability have their DEF and SP DEF lowered by one stage from their original stats. During rain the Pokémon with this ability has their DEF and SP DEF increased one stage from their original stats. This ability isn't treated as a stat modifier.

It would be a hidden ability for shittily defensive Ice-type Pokemon like most of them. The idea comes from the freezing point of water and the rain freezing when it makes contact with the Pokemon's skin, increasing its defenses. Certain Ice-types would have better viability on rain teams and not have to worry one bit about fire-types.
