Not all of the regions are available on every 3DS. I was going to do that so my native would be garden, but none of those areas are available on a North American 3DS.

Just tried in the 3DS friend list and I didn't see any way to do it. I thought that you could because there would be a limit to how many friends you could have.

Sandstorm is the rarest. Those you see are usually from people who've lied in their DS settings.
Jungle and Archipelago next.
Then it's Sun, Ocean and Monsoon

Of course value can change so the rarity varies.

And anything that isn't purple, red or yellow will usually garner interest. I assumed green was quite common but apparently it's more on the uncommon side of things.

You're doing it wrong, then. Ask for an uncommon non-Vivillion pokemon and then trade it on the Vivillion page for a pattern you don't have.

Just be warned, the Vivillion GTS page is a goddamn dogpile.

Bull shit those are the rarest. Monsoon is far more rare than either, it's the only one NA region locks can't get. If you can't find a sandstorm, jungle or archipelago, you're just not talking to enough people. There's almost always threads on here that give those away for free.
