So, I've been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue hit store shelves, and I've only recently discovered what the Nuzlocke Challenge is. Apparently, given that it originated on 4chan to begin with, it's somewhat popular here, but hey.

As someone who's thinking of undertaking one, I have a little question, mainly about the second main rule - catching the first 'Mon you see in an area only, and nothing else. The gist is perfectly understandable, but what if you have a full team, or even one that isn't, and you go back to an area you've previously been to - through, say, backtracking to a Pokemon Centre to heal and then heading back or otherwise - and you run into a wild Pokemon then. Does it still apply?

Basically, I'm just wondering if you can catch Pokemon in an area you've already caught one in through backtracking, because the question occurred to me.
