Let's start a nostalgia/past thread, heres how it works:>18, playing pokemon x and enjoying it >6 Pokemon Gold >Emerald, loved the Hoenn region and surfing across the ocean >Chose Cyndaquil in gold and didn't use any other pokes, got to Lance and couldn't beat him so I gave up and didn't even realize you could go to Kanto >Parents bought me emerald off ebay, enjoyed game heaps and finished multiple times, one day on replay of game I finish elite 4 and find out that its a pirated version that eventually broke and wouldn't let me save after elite 4 >Friend told me that you couldn't catch a pokemon if it came up with 'Awww had already been caught', believed this and failed to catch Ho-oh and Lugia
