I admit, Its pretty scrubby of me, but I really enjoy thrashing people who use teams like this.
It's just so satisfying running down 2-3 starters, 2-3 legendaries and Lucario with little to no faints.

I fought a Timmy with "Let's battle", carrying a Zygarde, Mega Charizard and a Mewtwo, too.
My Durant rekted his Zygarde and I got him down to only Mewtwo and I was at like, not even past the 8th gym.

It's like OP thinks that children think up strategy, or thinks of IV's, movesets and abilities, they just play with what they like. Legendaries just happen to be liked more than others.
