You're probably wrong about Protect.

King's shield only protects against attacking moves, not status, which Trick is.

Going through king's sheild is understandable since it doesn't block any status moves, but if it actually does go through protect that's pretty bullshit.

It does activate Prankster the turn it evolves. Speed calculations are done are done at the beginning of turn, though, before it has Prankster. What would be BS is if it could retroactively apply Prankster.

The order of moves is decided before the mega evolution, but the power etc isn't. Prankster affects move order, and since it comes into effect after the beginning of the turn it doesn't work that turn. Drought happens right away though since the sun doesn't change the order of moves (Unless there's a pokemon with chlorophyll; their speed won't change that turn either). This is why the speed change from mega-evolving also doesn't take effect until the next turn.

Parental Bond doesn't make Fake Out go first. Fake Out priority is to go first, but it turns mega before it hits.

Parental Bond is another non-attack-order thing. M-Banette unfortunately gets a short end of a stick this time around since its ability has something to do with turn order that's already been programmed to be calculated before it goes Mega to even have the ability.

It sucks but I'm enjoying Mega Banette as it is anyway.
