So what was the verdict on this game vp? I know the starting choices were limited, but did that take away from the gameplay? Was it at the very least fun?

I enjoyed it a lot, but I did not like the previous games.
It has good points and bad points, but it is by no means a bad game. Story is the best in the series, but the game was not challenging enough.

Personally liked it quite a bit. If you enjoyed the previous games I'd give it a go.
