Will O Wisp, Horn Leech, Leech Seed, and then either coverage or filler.

Coverage consists of a ghost type STAB to use against other grass types, usually shadow sneak, while filler consists of gimmick nonsense like Shadow Force/Protect/Substitute for HP stalling on leech seed, Curse for some bullshit with sitrus berry+harvest, or any other gimmick you can think of. Chestorest even works technically.

Only reason i raised mine was b/c it was shiny.

but it has no place being used in competitive battles

I tried using this tree and it sucks.

It has no speed so it needs to be bulky but its typing and not-really-amazing defenses make it impossible. Harvest helps with recovery obviously, but its not enough.

Use Forest's Curse to change Bibarel to a Water/Normal/Grass type. Have Bibarel use Rototiller, which activates on himself now (as well as Ghostree), Simple gives Bibarel a +2.

For an added bonus, run Gourgeist with Trick-or-Treat to make it a Water/Normal/Grass/Ghost, and something with Acupressure constantly targetting Bibarel.
