I gave him a Goomy I bred.
Its kind nature would suit it well, plus its a strong poke.
I imagined they would go on journeys together, heck maybe we'd even run into each other and have a pokemon battle

I gave him a foreign Ralts that I got from the Wonder Trade.
It was one of my only low-levels at the time.
Ralts are supposed to be able to feel the emotions of other people, so I figure she'll be able to comfort him before he passes on.
Kinda wish I could have given him a Pokemon that I intend to use in my team though.
I could have swapped with him, but I just want him to be happy during his last moments.

Should we have given him a Ghost-type or something?
Maybe something that could have helped him pass on, maybe help his soul go on to the otherside.
