My apologies for bringing up trading in a non-trading thread, but a thread with people who've kicked ass at the battle maison seems the most likely place to find people who have the berries exclusive to victories there.

Anyone in this thread who's beaten round 100 - or 200, yeah, I know it's a stretch - have either a lansat or a starf berry for trade? I have kick-ass breeding scraps with 5 IVs, including ocean pattern vivillons (currently scatterbugs.) Other 5 iv imperfect breeding scraps with: togepi (4 egg moves incl nasty plot), gible (2 egg moves)

I run Return/Earthquake/Sucker Punch/Fake-out

Fake-out + Sucker Punch KOs most things faster than you, other than some annoying pokemon that like to setup.

Fake-out + Return is usually enough to KO anything. Anything else you can take a hit form so long as it doesn't carry close combat.

It's game over if you get one in, but I can see the draw Fake Out has.

It's basically deciding whether you want the first Pokémon to be the most dangerous or the least dangerous.

Something like that happened to me. It killed Delphox and Blastoise, burned Mawile, I Swords Danced twice, landed a lucky Iron Head, then swept up with Sucker Punch. Then next match I lose to an Endure/Salac/Anger Point Tauros.

Got to round 72 without needing Noivern too much and I only lost because I made a fully retarded mistake.

Volcarona is good rock move b8 to safely switch in Mawile and Mawile is amazing ground b8 so you can get Noivern in,especially against all those scarfed Landorus

Maison really does start hacking once you get to the higher levels and seemingly never ever miss any attack ever. I've only ever dodged a Focus Blast twice out of at least 30. Pair that along with cheesy tactics like parafusion and ridiculous fast sleepers and it's hard to stand a chance.

Bull fucking shit, game. What pisses me off is that there is no happy medium in this game, no decent, fair challenge. The main game is easy as fuck, and the post game stuff cheats to hell and back. I guess I'll just stick to fighting 12-year-olds and their Blazikens and Mewtwos online.

I really can't comment. I use Galvantula, Gyarados, Crobat, Scrafty, Chandelure and Vivillon. I just use them because they are personal favorites, and I always get shut down before battle #30.

I recommend you use the most overpowered, over-used, semi-uber Pokemon you can muster, cause you're going to need every advantage you can get. Folks seem to have great luck with Mega-Kangaskhan. Aegislash can be a good way to stall/cheese your opponents to death, as the AI doesn't quite grasp how to counter the stance change, in my experience.

I ALMOST use your team; just swap Noivern for Gyarados. I encounter Stunfisk on people's teams a whole lot. Not too bad, though; Stunfisk is weaksauce. The only close calls I've had have been at the institute which is, like, the Maison's cheating in hypertime.

So how many people get wrecked by Primeape in the Maison? I like the pokemon, but it has become my mortal enemy.

Since then, even after I raised a proper team for the Maison, Primeape has been there to terrorize me. It appears when it is least expected, and least welcome. If I survive a Primeape encounter, it is the pokemon to cause the most trouble. Crit Cross Chops, well-timed Retaliates, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Acrobatics, whatever it takes to counter me. I would be frustrated if I was not so impressed. Does anyone else here struggle with Primeape? Any other pokemon you have encountered that are consistently threatening?

Did you know, Timid 252 Speed Gardevoir will just barely outspeed Adamant 0 Speed Talonflame? This is exacerbated more so the less IVs Talonflame has.
