Looking to collect all of the berries, Serebii's list shows "Red Berry trees - Wild Encounters" for a lot of them. I'm guessing Wild Encounters means some Pokémon hold them, but what does Red Berry trees mean? I'm guessing it's not the same as the berry trees that are all over Kallos, which always have one specific berry type on them?

Pretty straight forward, but yeah, even neutral stab Acrobatics hurts a lot. U-Turn to get the fuck out, and it hits pretty fuggen hard as STAB. I find myself usually running Water Shuriken for Blazikens and poorly natured Talonflames. Even if it only hits 3 times, it's better than Aqua jet. If it hits five times it's practically a priority Waterfall. Also, its individual hits can crit. I understand why people don't like Water Shuriken though, and if you're one of those people, either of the other priority attacks are grand.
I suppose you could use Life Orb too and get a little bit more of a boost before you chuck your item, and not lose any health too!

Give the Pokémon you want to level a lucky egg and put it in positions 2 or 3, give a level ~100 Pokémon an amulet coin and put it in the front, and sweep the battles without ever switching to the thing you're levelling up. Still takes about 15 battles to get to level 50, but it's the fastest way as far as I know.

Hi /vp/! I'm new to the whole EV training scene and I have a question. If the pkmn I'm training can't learn a move that hits multiple pokes, but I want to train using hordes, could I just keep switching it out to a pkmn that knows surf or something? Would the pkmn I'm training still get the EVs?

once you beat the game you can get dittos that have free 2 perfect IVs from the safari AND you have access to the dude that tells you what your IVs are. ITs so much easier to wait until you beat the game to start breeding
