Is that a normal amount? I soft reset a lot when I wasn't getting eggs that were way subpar (i.e. breeding a 4iv squirtle with a 3 iv ditto resulting in 2 iv squirtles...)

I had been through about a dozen boxes when someone traded me for their 5IV female Eevee just so I could stop fucking around with the shit 4IV one I was using. It has Run Away as its ability, though, so I'm still on the hunt. So far, five boxes, about ten females. All 4IVs. I know when I get a 5IV it'll have Run Away as its ability or something. Seriously, fuck this game. And people wonder what genning is a thing.

Breeding is so easy in this game.
In only 3 days I managed to breed 3 mons with perfect IVs/Nature/Ability.
I usually breed with a Ditto untill I get a female one with the wanted ability plus 3-4 perfect IVs, I give her the everstone. Then I breed it with a male one with 3-4 perfect IVs. The male one gets the destiny knot.
Its a pain in the ass to cycle around for a long time until you get an egg, if you handed in a Ditto.
With two mons of the same species and different gender it goes way faster.
