What do you guys think of this Malamar set? I plan on using it online in Y. I'm not sure on its EVs yet.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

For EVs I'd recommend max in HP and then either going all out for speed, ATK or Sp. Defense. Probably a mix between Sp. Defense and Speed favoring Sp. Defense to get the most out of the AV boost. If you don't like split EVs then max ATK and Speed and be a faggot.

Malamar's stats are mediocre at best. it's niche is the best anti-setup this side of forever. use it.

He's not the best anti-setup though, as most setup sweepers can hit him hard enough without buffs/get at least one buff in on the switch. Unaware is much better.

I run a life orb adamant malamar with max attack and speed. It kicks major ass, especially when it gains speed if my field got hit with sticky web.

Investment on Sp. Defense won't hurt a bit either. So, 252 in Attack, 220 in HP, and 32 in Sp. Defense can create some bulk to take hits from more speedy opponents (because we all know Malamar isn't the fastest). Also, replace Rock Slide with Topsy-Turvy. It can ruin all kinda of set ups. With my Malamar, I use Superpower a couple of times to buff him up first, and then start dishing out the STABs. This build is pretty solid, but make sure you get the Superpowers in before you get hit by a U-turn. 4x Bug is a really bad advantage.
