I've never played a Pokemon game.
My friend whose been a fan since forever suggested I start with Leaf Green or Fire Red.
So I did, and this shit is probably the most bland and boring RPG I've ever played.
I'm in Cerulean City now and I'm considering dropping it.
The townsfolk offer nothing of value.
The roads to each down are boring and fights are mainly just spam one move with a certain pokemon and it just doesn't really feel like a "game" at all. More like work.
Does the series get better and should I try a different game?
