Are there any athiests in the pokemon world?
Im pretty curious, seeign as how many ghosts types are the "souls of dead pokemon/people"
What are logical explanations for ghosts types?

I would assume that some atheists exist, but the fact that there are actual demonstrable deities in the Pokemon world would make them even rarer than they are in real life.

Pokemon Origins actually made a distinction between Ghost-type and regular ghosts.

i think its safe to assume not every steel type pokemon is made of actual steel, they just have physical and combat (chemical?) properties that are all extremely similar, react the same way to stimuli, and have an uncanny resemblance to steel in many circumstances, therefore they're steel types

ghost pokemon might not all have to be actual ghosts, they're just all similar enough to be grouped together as one type and that type has overall characteristics best described as ghostly, so they're ghost pokemon

I am a stern human rights activist.
Just look at the daily injustices caused by pokemon. Every day humans loose ownership of thier pokemon, and they are too embarrased when bitten by one.

The correct word for that would be skeptical. And someone skeptical in the pokemon world would say something like "Ghost-type Pokémon aren't ghosts, they're just made of another type of energy condesed as a Pokemon. This energy can't be hit by Normal or Fighting moves by common methods. Since Ghost-type Pokemon can breed unlimitedly, it's impossible that they give birth to actual spirits of dead people/pokemon."
