I ABSOLUTLEY love smeargle...it's cute and has a nifty ability.......but shitty stats........so I was looking around for my 6th poke for my team and saw something strange

Does smeargle gets stab from explosion? Seriously?
Is this worth running on a spore smeargle?
like what kind of damage will it do?
What else should I run on him?

Smeargle has absolutely rock-bottom offenses for a fully evolved Pokemon. They made it so that even if you take Explosion or some of the signature moves of upper-legendary Pokemon, you will never be able to pose a damage threat.

Smeargle is amazing for his limitless support movepool.

so against a lucario with beefed up stats smeagle does 281 damage? that's not shabby is it?

If you want stab explosion go with lickilicky. It's kind of predictable on it though... best make sure ghosts and physically bulky pokes with normal resists are dead before you fire it off.

If you really want to use Smeargle I would forget about explosion and go with one of the many support sets that he does well. Seriously it learns almost every move in the game... tailor it to your teams needs.
