About to start running the same eevee set as everyone says they will at some point or another since I'm finally able to MM with myself. I'm not overly familiar with eeveelution's builds outside of vaporeon, jolteon and umbreon though. There's not any that should be built as a mixed tank right? I'd be fine with just two eevees with the spread of 31/31/31/xx/31/31 and 31/xx/31/31/31/31?

Every time you run into a shiny you should look up it's moves, the Pokemon will have the last 4 it learns via level, so... you want to make sure not to false swipe things that have recoil attacks, too (like Eevee).

The natures I've heard are:

Timid for Espeon and Jolteon
Modest for Glaceon
Mild for Flareon
Bold for Vaporeon
Careful for Umbreon
Jolly or Adamant for Leafeon
and Calm for Sylveon.

It depends on what you want for each evo. Jolteon and Glaceon can alternate between Modest and Timid. Espeon, some people run Bold, they're weird.

Okay, one more post before I continue breeding for a perfect Goomy parent.

After I got my shiny Absol last weekend, I accidentally got rid of my Absolite. I was planning on getting Y later on, but because I lost it, I ended up getting it today. I bought a pre-owned version of it, and luckily, the guy who had it beat the game and returned it. I've got all the Mega Stones now and sometime tomorrow I will be giving all but Absolite, Houndoomite, and Charizite Y away. I will be posting when I'm doing it in the Shiny Hunt thread that will be up.

There's your issue. Dittos aren't breedable and despite the Friend Safaris, you're lucky to get one that has 3.

The GTS is the best place to get a foreign ditto but you can't actually check the IVs and often the japanese ditto offers are crazy.

generally easier to get lucky and find a foreign Male of the same Egg group as what you want, preferably one with at least 3 perfect IVs. Teach it any egg moves that might be useful.

I got lucky and found a 4IV male skorupi on the GTS for my bug breeding. he wanted a Gloom between the levels 21-30, after I traded the one I had leveled up while EV training (sweet scent) i realized he probably wanted a Safari one. Oh well.

This speed is killing me it can't outspeed any pseudo if it has max ivs and speed like this so it no longer has it's few advantages. There'd be no guarantee that a shiny I'd get would be a white flower though. With MM I have a white flabebe, desired nature and ability. With the friend safari all three things are too much up to chance...provided I don't get a shiny in whatever else is in the safari

Well, obviously you have a much lower encounter rate with hatching, but since we don't know the ratios it's hard to tell. Hatching will guarantee you a better product, though.
