All of my shinies have been pure luck (graveler, frogadier).

I read shiny horror stories here all the time and could never subject myself to active hunting.

I've had no real luck at all but then my girlfriend goes and finds a shiny Azuril and Pokerus in the wild in the same day. A week later my brother gets two shiny Zubats. Some days you just get all of the luck. The Azuril is now an Azumaril named Midas.

I got a shiny Larvesta from regular breeding. Of course it happens when I'm not trying. Only 2 perfect IV's tho when both the parents were 4, that kinda sucks, everything else in the batch was better.
