I'll admit that was pretty poorly worded.
The whole thing is that it's so similar to this human-made object. Sure, it can shoot fairy blasts and stuff, that's not a problem for me, that's fine. It's just that every single member of this species of fairy doesn't magically look like the lock and keychain combo, they physically do. There's no magic distortion or anything. They're just born as babies and they look like that. That doesn't happen in like, any other lore. There's fairies that disguise themselves as things, but Klefki's just Klefki. And Klefki just looks like that.
A ghost possessing a pre-made sword is more bearable because it's sort of possessing a pre-made sword. The sword already looks like that. There's really no reason it should change how the sword looks all too much at all.
