So, I really don't want this thread to devolve into an anti-Hoenn thread, but I'm guessing it will. Well, let's give it a shot anyways.

It seems the .PKX file format has been decrypted. Something that is missing are bytes for Contest stats. Contests, as we all know, was Gen III's gimmick. It doesn't seem likely that these stats would be missing if GF was planning a Gen III remake this generation. I can't imagine them removing Contest; it's kind of what the Advance generation was known for, besides water trumpets that is.

So, do you think GF is planning a Gen III remake without contest? Do you think GF isn't considering a remake this gen but next gen instead? Or do you think GF is done remaking games considering you can transfer Pokemon from all regions now (Big reason why the remade Red/Blue/Green was so that players could obtain Kanto-only Pokemon).
