They NEVER do move tutors in the first iteration of a new generation. Black and White did not have them, Diamond and Pearl did not have them, Ruby and Sapphire did not have them. The move tutor will be back for Z.

Berry blending kind of exists in the juice shop and the mutation trees. Or did you mean the mini game?

Never has this picture been needed more. Your post is the epitome of "no fun allowed". Yes, walking Pokemon is pointless but who fucking cares? It was my favorite feature in HG/SS. It was just so great to see Feraligatr playing in the Water, Steelix getting upset in the rain and Forretress rolling around and making those weird speech bubbles. I'm actually really curious about the number of people who would remember HG/SS, if it weren't for the walking Pokemon. I mean, sure, it was a remake, but it didn't fix the levels and the Pokemon locations, it's mostly remembered as "that game where you had walking Pokemon". I was really sad when I saw it removed. HG/SS was /vp/'s favorite game when it first came out, but I think it was mostly fueled on nostalgia.

It really did nothing to solve the original's problems. Just dressed it up in a fresh coat of paint. But a painted turd is still a turd.

Also, walking pokemon would have tolerable if it could have been switched off.

HG/SS were the greatest Pokemon games, and a huge reason for this was the walking Pokemon.

After porting Gardevoir over from Ruby and walking with her, I realized that my relationship with her meant more to me than my other Pokemon. Now, we've been married for three years, so don't even fucking tell me that it wasn't important. Without it, I may have never realized my true feelings.

I can't wait to bring her Y so we can spend more time together in Amie.

I pretty much agree on the other points, but Voltorb Flip was actually a nice minigame. It wouldn't hurt to have it. But on the other hand the coins as a whole are useless, seeing as TMs have unlimited uses.

Seasons good otherwise, but a month is a long time to wait for a time-based event. That said, the second and third points are not pointless, they gave the game some depth.

After beating the E4 I didn't feel as if the game was over. I knew there was tons more shit to explore.

Good for you Anon, I'm happy for you. I wish more people would realize that pokemon-human marriage IS CANON and should be more acceptable. Both the anime and game say it's okay (in gen 4 it flat out says people used to marry pokemon and remember Ash and Latias in the movie? They kissed and shit....I never cried harder).

Also it's not furry because humans are pokemon too but we dont got special powers and such.

I specifically skipped gen 5 because they have shitty new mechanics in the odd numbered generations while removing great old mechanics from the even numbered ones. what the fuck gamefreak

This is actually a really interesting question.

I imagine that they'll get rid of Amie and Super Training, it's always the bottom-screen stuff that seems to get re-jiggered (they'll probably just end up finding another simpler mechanic for affection or at least make Sylveon evolve another way). Other big candidates are probably the skates, PR videos, photos and maybe even customisable trainers
