I'd probably hang out with them for a while, but I don't know if I'd call any of them my friends. They all seem fairly annoying. Trevor acts like he's smarter than you and knows more about catching pokemon, but you always have more dex entries than him. Shauna acts like a typical 11 year old who is overly energetic and not very competent (I'll admit, she does get better). Tierno I could maybe see being friends with, since he reminds me of one of my friends, and I could see myself hanging out with Serena on occasion as long as she doesn't act like a bitch.
The only character in this game I'd be willing to befriend for sure is Emma.
