>>16018386Well that's partly true. Being reliant on it is very flawed, but it's equally flawed to just run 4 coverage moves.
This was my team, I guess I could've just posted the sets earlier, but whatever.
Noivern @ Life Orb
Infiltrator, Timid 252 SAtk 252 Speed 4 HP
Taunt / Draco Meteor / Air Slash / Flamethrower
Undeniable MVP. Taunt wins most battles for you. Meteor hits hilariously hard, Air Slash has precious flinch chance and Flamethrower OHKOs a lot of otherwise annoying assholes like Ferrothorn and Scizor.
Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Intimidate, Adamant 156 HP 72 Atk 96 Def 184 Speed
Dragon Dance / Waterfall / Earthquake / Ice Fang
With Taunt support and plenty of easy switch-ins thanks to Intimidate, just pull of two dances and it's ogre. Mega Evolution can be used to mitigate incoming electric or rock damage. I tried not to use it right away, despite the stat buffs, for fear of something scarfed with a fairy move, choice band mach punch, or something stupid like that.
Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Stance Change, Relaxed 252 HP 252 Atk 4 SDef
King's Shield / Swords Dance / Sacred Sword / Shadow Sneak
AI doesn't know how to fight this guy all that well. You can completely nuke something's attack with King's Shield and they'll play right into it. Weakness Policy is awesome for OHKOing things that could 2HKO you so you don't need to set up. Shadow Sneak is great for the plethora of Sash users as well.
