>>16020479I can't stand his videos. I can see in his eyes and hear in his voice that he wants to be sociable so people will like him, but it's not in his nature and he's forcing himself to sound enthusiastic and gregarious.
Overanalyzing aside, his voice is just bothersome. It doesn't help that he feels the need to read every single piece of dialog that appears on-screen when playing a game, with terrible voices.
He presents information as if it's not well known, even when it is, and makes fairly obvious/commonplace observations and acts as if it's the first time anyone's said them.
The Flash intro really fucking annoys me. I can tell he's very proud of how authentic it is, with the right sound effects and everything!
He's one of those guys who sets up a PO box address "just in case you want to send me fan mail" and then shows videos of all the gifts people send him, implicitly encouraging others to send him presents just for being him.
He's one of those guys who is "proud to be a nerd!" and evokes "nerd shorthand" to show that he is indeed the embodiment of a stereotype.
He reminds me of the typical character on Law & Order: SVU who finds out that, despite having a seemingly loving and healthy relationship, his murdered girlfriend was actually sleeping around behind his back.
