I cant get my ds to connect to the internet. I've tried all of my shared connections. I can connect to the access point, just not to the internet. Can someone help me out, please? Been trying to get this to work all morning.

When you create your character in game you are given a shiny Value.
Encounter or hatch a pokemon that matches your Shiny value and boom it becomes shiny.
This could mean the masuda method is now 100% useless and breeding same region pokemon will yeild the same chance as masuda.

I got lucky when a wild Oddish had the same shiny value as my trainer shiny value, 3468, resulting in it being shiny.
An egg however, its shiny value is determined upon creation. If it is shiny depends on the trainer who hatched it.
So if your Froakie egg has a pokémon shiny value of 3468, I would be able to hatch it as shiny.

First you open up cmd with admin privileges.
Then put in "netsh wlan set hostednetwork allow"
After that put in "netsh wlan start hostednetwork"
I think the problem was that Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter is
not setup by default or something."

RNGing is simply LOOKING at these values and catching/breeding at certain times when the RNG is set to produce the desired thing. That's exactly what you guys are doing here.
Please don't say what RNGing is when you've obviously never done it or even read about it.
